Under UJALA scheme, the main objective is to promote efficient lighting, enhance awareness on using efficient equipment which reduces electricity bills and helps preserve the environment. Efficient light bulbs, like LEDs, consume only one-tenth of the energy used by ordinary bulbs to provide the same or better light output. So, we ask you to suggest ways for promoting the use of LEDs on this open discussion forum.

Subsidised won't be a solution a strong act has to be passed every new electrical Installation must be fitted with LED Lamps.a must rule for electrical approval. Then definitely people will do.Another push should be cancelling all concessions for incandescent lamp hike it's price when it's available for 10 RS always they go for incandescent.stop this.Promote the savings and life between both.

Any new project in Public Sector or Private sector should be made mandatory or passed only with LED , Solar implementation else should pay higher fee and roadmap to implement in 1 year time . This will give Govt extra revenue which can be utilized in R&D of renewable energy and other development projects.#LED's#MyGov

One thing that the govt. Should do is two led bulb must be given to each customer on each connection. It should be like that on the payment of bill the cost of two bulb is maintioned in the bill and this will be delivered when the costumer come for payment of bill.
