There remain serious gaps in implementation. There are still various pockets in India where disadvantageous groups – SC, ST, and Minorities have failed to access the services. All efforts should be taken so that girl child is in school, children with disabilities should have all the required infrastructure and facilities in schools and there should be focused and sustained efforts made for SC/ST and minorities group.

The facility should be given on the basis of economic conditions of a child, not on the basis of caste and religion. Children with special needs should be considered and there should be special educators for such children in every school.
