The issue of social access and equity are far too complex. While the gaps in average enrolments between disadvantaged groups like SC, ST, Muslims, girls and Children with special needs and the general population have decreased, there is still a considerably large gap in learning levels with historically disadvantaged and economically weaker children having significantly lower learning outcomes. Large and growing learning gaps threaten the equity gains achieved on the enrolment front because children with lower levels of learning are more likely to drop out. We need to examine current interventions in bridging the gender and social gaps and identify focused strategies for effective inclusion.

All facilities like free education, food, dress, books should be given to sc/st/backward class students but their education should not be diluted merely on the basis of reservation.Such students should compete alongwith students of general category meaning thereby that financial help is good but compromise with knowledge is not acceptable in their own interest.

one of the important reasons for exclusion and non-inclusion is discrimination against various groups of children, particularly SC, ST, Muslim Minority, girls, children with disability etc. We need to build non-discriminatory attitudes and practices in all spheres of our education-curriculum, teacher training, class room practices, student interactions etc. We need to have pro-active systems built in to make mindset changes. Addressing discrimination and equity measure is way for inclusion.

It is said that there is tuition fee waiver for single girl child, but the schools recognized by CBSE in Kerala are still not complying to this regulation. Sir can't you please rope them in, even if they are run by pvt. managements whether minority or majority groups. If so a sizable number of girl children could get the benefits for school education.

There is an immediate need to educate these communites, especially women and girls. To those who think that Dalits are well off today, I should say that they are not. Excepting a negligible fraction, majority of them are still far beyond the reach of education. Its essential to appoint teachers who can go to the remote Dalit colonies to teach the women and girls, who often get no time to go to school. Also schools should be set up at remote Dalit colonies..

If it possible then first take the survey of SCs/STs then if the situation is like I'm thinking (my thinking is, there is no radical change of condition of SC/ST) then you please impose the reservation strongly at all place in govt, in private, public-partnership organization and after your tenure (upto 5 yr) just remove the reservation policy from everywhere but at the same time again review the condition and if it is justified then again apply it strongly.
