The issue of social access and equity are far too complex. While the gaps in average enrolments between disadvantaged groups like SC, ST, Muslims, girls and Children with special needs and the general population have decreased, there is still a considerably large gap in learning levels with historically disadvantaged and economically weaker children having significantly lower learning outcomes. Large and growing learning gaps threaten the equity gains achieved on the enrolment front because children with lower levels of learning are more likely to drop out. We need to examine current interventions in bridging the gender and social gaps and identify focused strategies for effective inclusion.

Modiji Mid- Day Meal to children should be supplied by governmental agencies with quality food products. It is checked regularly by concerned authorities. A committee should be formed in all schools with at least two parents and ensure that quality food is receiving to all eligible children. Response from the school committee was collected monthly by the authorities and correct complaints if any.Scholarships were provided for eligible ones without considering APL or BPL.

Modiji, Please arrange counselling to all children once in a month in all schools. This will help to understand their problems. Please make a committee in all schools which include one lawyer, doctor etc. to give support to the needy after the counselling. please take steps to reduce the weight of bags of children as it is almost double or thrice the weight of children itself. It causes serious health problems to children in their life.

Hon. Minister Sir, Before teaching anything, interest in learning is to be developed. So primary education should be given in the mother tongue only. There is an urgent need to reform the residential schools run by the government for the ST students to attract more students specially girls with facilities like toilets. It is time to have at least one Ekalavya English medium school in each tribal block in the country, if we want them to improve in their enrollment and quality of education.
