What kind of a Smart City where at every tourist spot, every market and at every red light there are so many beggars. I think if we are really planning to make our PASIGHAT a smart city we should seriously think of firstly rehabilitation or employment of the beggars and make ourselves a beggar free city. I propose the idea of training these people in some form of traditional and cultural art and giving them areas where they can perform or work for a living.

Finally, this report would not have been possible without the participation of those who generously offered their valuable time to complete the survey and take part in the focus groups. These individuals came from all over the country and represented a number of different municipality sizes, types of facilities, and geographic locations.

Pasighat is to be created as educational hub as it is located in most suitable place at easy access from any part of north east state. Though there is many technical and non technical college or schools is not catering to ever growing population.

Since smart city mean to build a sustainable City with basic infrastructures inclusive growth, there should also be room for urban poor in the form of affordable housing, employment generation etc. Emphasis should also be given to good governance including E Governance.

My city should have the smartest classrooms for our children. My city should be the smartest in providing internal security. My city should have inbuilt escalator ramps for trouble free commutation of the differently able. My city should be smart enough to grow with value addition to the pristine beauty of mighty Siang. My city should be a center of trading for farmers who cultivate organic products. My city should provide shelter and solace to the aged. My city should be green.

For the past three years, turnover in water/wastewater treatment facilities has been nearly double that of solid waste facilities. One-third of the facilities surveyed had difficulties retaining workers at the intermediate experience level. However, both water/wastewater treatment and solid waste management facilities have reported much lower turnover in 2009 than in the previous two years.

Drainage system will be more important for me, as I am resident of Pasighat Market. During rainy season, there is water logging all around my house. Mosquitoes... everyone in my house suffers from malaria and now dengue is making life hell.

Pasighat has the best government health establishment in the state. The century old General Hospital lies within a large area with avenues for further infrastructural development. It is a multi specialty hospital its Center which addresses the problems of habitual addicts etc., for recuperation.
