The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in community-led Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the city profile, administrative efficiency and citizen engagement with the draft Smart City Proposal so that will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your Participation is important for us.

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

Both water/wastewater and solid waste management facilities reported lower turnover in 2009 than the previous two years.The National Working Group members attributed this primarily to the current economic conditions. Many older practitioners who are close to retirement are staying in their positions to recover some lost retirement income, and younger practitioners are not moving around as much due to fewer opportunities in both the public and private sectors.

Pasighat is the most deserving and fit place for the smart city project without any doubt 1. It's the oldest town of the state 2. It has the best roads and road connectivity in the state 3. People are well mannered and have better mindsets 4. Less crimes even though the population is quite huge 5. Clean place and land space is readily available waiting for the developmental processes
