The digital world has become an essential part of our daily lives—whether it’s social media, online shopping, digital banking, or gaming. Along with these opportunities come new risks such as Investment Scam, Instant Loan, Part time job, Trading, Sextortion, Courier Fraud, Digital Arrest, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS).

To build a safer online community, Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to join the Digital Safety Dialogue. This open discussion is a space for sharing personal experiences, safety tips, and community practices that help protect against cyber threats. By learning from each other, we can strengthen digital safety awareness and promote secure online behavior for all.

Your inputs will help create a collective pool of ideas and practices that can be used to spread awareness and guide citizens towards building a Cybercrime-free Digital Bharat.

Sir, if the digital information is converted by equivalent fingerprint hash, [ similar to conversion of binary system to decimal system] no data leaks can occur. I mean, our information is converted to read, written, handled in based on our fingerprint/aadhar. For eg, a mobile phone operates not on digital system, but on a system based on our fingerprints. All the incoming data converted to it. [ a machine language to be attacked with the same machine language only generally]. Please have a final recourse on the subject.

In today’s world, digital technology is everywhere. We use it for studying, working, shopping, socializing, and even government services. Smartphones, computers, social media platforms, and online services make life easier and faster. However, with so many people using the internet, it is very important to stay safe online. Digital safety is not just a personal matter; it is a responsibility that everyone must take seriously. Without proper awareness, the internet can become a place where privacy is lost, cyberbullying happens, and scams take place. Therefore, I strongly believe that educating people about digital safety is crucial for our country.

First, digital safety helps protect personal information. Many people, especially young students, share private details like their phone number, address, or banking information on social media without realizing the risks. Hackers and cybercriminals can misuse this information to steal money, commit fraud, or even cause harm.

The Importance of Digital Safety
The internet is a double-edged sword: it empowers communication, learning, and innovation but also exposes users to risks like data breaches, identity theft, phishing, misinformation, and online harassment. With billions of devices connected globally, vulnerabilities are exploited at an alarming rate.
