India is among 51 countries to sign the “Rome Declaration” on “Achieving Self-sufficiency in Safe Blood and blood products based voluntary non-remunerated donation”. Blood is an intrinsic requirement for health care and proper functioning of the health system. National AIDS Control Organization under Department of Health and Family Welfare has been primarily responsible for ensuring provision of safe blood for the country since 1992. National Blood Policy 2003 reiterates firmly the government’s commitment to provide safe and adequate quantity of blood, blood components and blood products.

However, in India, a needy patient or his relatives have to run from pillar to post in search of blood and the onus of procurement of blood still lies with the patient and not with the service provider.

Suggestions are invited on how to develop a nationally coordinated and well networked blood transfusion service in the country and reach 100% voluntary blood donation to enable us to meet the global goal of self sufficiency in blood and blood products.

Any law to ban or control conversion or reconversion will be against the 'freedom to follow any religion or to abandon any or all of them". Constitutional Right (and International Principal) of religious freedom and moreover the basic "FREEDOM OF THOUGHTS"will be jeopardized if we will make legal control over change or abandonment of religion(s). We need only to stop (re)conversions from religion A to B, being done by threats or allurement.Religion must be by rational choice made after 18

For Health education campaign we should organize Health Marathon every year on 14th January Makarasankranti day under leadership of owner able Member of Parliament’s involving all the government department, NGO and peoples in every district. there will be host of activities like marathon run for health ,mini marathon run, theme specific marathon like child health, maternal health etc. The occasion may be utilized for quality improvement program for all kind of health institutions

when we r talking of digital India, we should connect all blood bank of atleast a city if not state so that real time picture of availability of blood can be seen and rather than patient running from one to another blood bank for paticular group can go diretly to blood bank where it is available. In this way we can save lives timely and can also save blood from getting wested which do happen in real life.

Adulteration of food items has reached astronomical proportions. Recent news(Loksatta Mumbai 16th Dec 2014) reported that even major dairies are indulging in adulteration of milk. Adulteration of food has extremely serious impact on nations health. This can affect health of present and future generations and make the nation of only sick people. The economic cost in terms of load on on the economy of sick nation is tremendous. Urgent steps in terms of legal,punitive,social,systemic need to taken.

Plz finance minister take initiative about budget Budget direct alloted to institution relief society + agenda+ time locking of work completion + give responsibility to cmo and bcmo and incharge of institution Otherwise no DA

BJP and RSS both have deviated from there respective agenda. Dharmantaran issue will put both of them to dirty Ganga. "Ghoshna Mantri" has become Home Minister to add fuel....
