Very good steps by STA and Chandigarh Admin. Following effects can be seen straight away:
1. Less Air Pollution(sources-News Papers)
2. Less Noise Pollution
3. Less Accidents(as Auto drivers take turn in mid way, without using an indicator)
4. Less traffic on roads
5. Less Traffic Jams
6. Revenue Growth For CTU
7. Less polluted Air for Asthma Patients and many more.
Please carry on with such controls. We should not make 10 thousand diesel auto happy on the account of 10 lakh people.

There are 14 highly polluted points in Delhi.Reason-Dust&smoke particles mixed with winter fog.For immediate relief:Military transport aircraft can be used to spray water on these areas on alternate days of the week between 6.30 to 7.30 AM or more frequently. For long term relief-Road side dust should be cleaned; grow plants in the road dividers & regular watering;construction sites & the smoke emitting factories should bear the expenditure in spraying of water by aircrafts.NO ODD/Even needed.

Alternative source of energy such as bio gas, solar panel,Wind power and other source of energy should be made compulsory for all individuals. A law should be reinforced by the parliament. Apart from that Complexes bigger than G+5 should be force to have bio gas plans, solar panels /wind panel which ever is convenient to start the project. Big complexes should install water recycles plants for its day to day water uses. The energy generated can also be used for out lighting and for the poor.

Vehicles should slowly be prohibited from campuses of big institutions (such as Panjab University) and intra-campus buses and vans should function instead. Electric (or at least hybrid) vehicles could be subsidized, especially two wheelers. The focus should be on banning trucks and buses which cause the maximum pollution. Also, smaller buses should run on Chd roads, since they are the biggest reason for traffic slowdowns and jams at chowks and on thin roads.

Along with the pollution certificate, vehicle owners should be checked for a recent maintenance certificate, and should be penalized if the vehicle has gone without service for too long (e.g. more than a year). People should be discouraged from owning big vehicles and should be encouraged to buy smaller cars or use public transport altogether. The vehicles entering Chd from outside should especially be checked for pollutants.
