-->> best way to create atmosphere we need to take steps against air pollution.
- through ADVERTISEMENT. when private companies do their advertisement. Tell them to put GO GREEN ideas along with them. thoughts along with them. It'll create awareness.
- & more we try to come in public & say it , People & Media might take our thoughts & WORK negatively. instead of that use same media & corporates for advertisement & also EARN MONEY. & then say we successfully TESTED our EXPERIMENT.

- good initiative
- many steps need to take though. this is not enough
-> since we have electric BUS now. then start with that
- make a SOLAR POWER based BUS STATION (for just SAMPLE testing )
- Get some electronic PUBLIC transport like BUSs & RICKSHAWs or CARs
- Encourage them to use PUBLIC electricity & charge little.. on BUS station which is run
by SOLAR POWER.
- Do some advertisement using PAPER so it can be Re-usable & earn MONEY.& along with spread things need be DONE.

The step against entry of diesel autos in Chandigarh is praise worthy. But it also emphasizes need to phase out diesel running local public transport buses of CTU & Haryana. These buses also emit heavy pollution thus causing great harm to Chandigarh environs. There should also be check on diesel running buses of various Educational institutes & companies located outside chandigarh eg Mohali,Zirakpur, Banur,Baddi, etc which clogs the roads & pollute environs of Chd.

Introduce some new tax for polluting vehicles and also for people travelling alone in a car. In all major cities people use to take their cars out just to commute to office or restaurants, etc... creating more traffic.

Anybody who truly loves Chandigarh can not be against ban on deisel autos. They not only pollute but also are a major cause of frequent traffic snarls and accidents. The unscrupulous autodrivers also ,illegaly, indulge in stage transport. Every nook and cranny is used for parking and every slip road is laced with autos. They overload and compromise safety of the passengers and fellow commuters. Safety of the public at large can't be held hostage for mere convenience of a handful. Hail STA.
