National Highway Authority of India currently is planning to build a citizen facing interface which can cater to all highway related needs of NH commuters. NHAI already has an Android mobile application called Sukhaad Yatra (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rsawh.nhia&hl=en_IN&gl=US) which needs to be upgraded and advanced further.

Citizens are invited to share their ideas on how the Sukhad Yatra app can be improved with additional features/ integrations to better service the needs of citizens. The end outcome is to improve the experience of NH commuters and build a robust medium of 2-way communication.

The tool will not be limited to but can cover the following areas:
● Informing users of construction and maintenance activities
● Allowing users to register complaints pertaining to the condition of the highway or highway activities such as toll (for eg. If wait times for a toll gate are too long or if FasTag is not working at a gate)
● Allow users to rate highways on various characteristics of the highway around their experience as a rider (on both negative and positive characteristics of experience, for example whether the NH offers a scenic route or view)
● Allow user to access emergency and first response services on the highway
● Allow users to access information on wayside amenities, petrol pumps, EV stations etc. Information about location of facilities along the route can be searched on Google Maps but this is hard to access for non smartphone users.
● Allow users to report traffic congestion, accidents, debris, toll-relates issues, request EV charging points etc to local command centres (Eg. Waze)
● The interface should be able to cater to user-needs of commuters with and without smartphones
● The interface should have a strong focus on UX, intuitive and centred around the day-to-day needs and experience of highway users.

The interface can also operate as a platform through which multiple existing private and public applications can link to such as NH’s toll free number, toll management system etc or travel related apps (MapMyIndia, Google Maps etc) which already have a high user-base. The platform should leverage strengths of existing IT applications and not reinvent where necessary.

The design should cater to all kinds of NH users such as:
● Commercial (trucking etc) who may or may not have a smartphone and a user design which caters to their needs
● Personal long-distance commuter which may not be as frequent but may have access to smartphones
● Local residents who live around the highways and use it more frequently than private long distance commuters

Submissions to this can be in the form of app mock-ups/ prototypes, presentations, concept notes on platform and other interfaces, list of desired features by commuters etc.

Tha last date of submission of ideas is 15th June 2022.

if possible try to help of drone in case of emergency will provide medicines if connected with app numbers not all or by emergency department or will give information nearby places /person this cn be helpful in कोकन side या फीर पहाड़ी इलाकों में जहां सिर्फ train जाती हो या फिर train भी न जाती हो ets u know accident or any other uneasy movement happens suddenly at a fraction of movement that time/period /movement person may unable to react to self help or think what to do & cn be problematic if none their so in such situations what cn be done with help of technology so if app will connecting to device in emergency mode in vehicles or persons any equipment ets then previously i suggest crush plastic to make road& now I think do barricades by road side with cutting gadgets & use it's battery with solar system to avoid unnecessary things & 4 safe happy journey

let in app 1 features that in case of immediate changes will show right direction decisions means - onces experience helpful another ones like a chain जिस बात से मुझे कुछ परेशानी हुई वो nxt traveling करने वाले को नहीं होना चाहिए so I will make sure to help him by app technology should be precautions way if journey technology for humanity less avoid accidents save time immediate help even if गाड़ी खराब हो गई in case any other पंचर ets how app will helpful nearby by toll plaza - if possible required equipment or nearby by places eg if there is village or ढाबा ets in short happy journey via technology leads 2 humanity

Road should not be the upto the mark in rural areas...Jab road banane ke liye tender nikalta he tab har ek apna apna hissa nikal leta hai,suppose rural me ek galli banane ke liye 10 lakh manjur hue to 4 lakh to politicians and PWD wale kha jate hai fir Jo contract leta he wo 2lakh rupees nikal leta hai aur jo kuch bacha hota he usame road develope karte hai...jabki actually amount sanction hui hoti he 10lakh....ye corruption kab tak chalne wala hai... government take any action or not?

हर सिक्के के दो पहलू होते हैं रास्ता भी वोही है _आना और जाना जैसे घर विश्राम का स्थान है वैसे ही यात्रा आश्रय स्थान है (होना चाहिए) relaxing journey this cn be possible by _ technology u cn save time u cn avoid unnecessary troubles so make it more beautiful by helping means in app - suggest your experience try to help by showing bothering aspect if u face any problem let's help next won't suffer let's technology work as bridge suffer by lelaxing don't make differ self help via app way that's fullfill journey

app will indicate - climate to fullfill purpose - feedback suggestions then to even make more decorative aspects use it location & what's in needed that cn be full fill eg - if nearby areas their is any village try to built conversation dialogue to make safer then waste material try to build some usefull aspects that journey cn be more light all informative aspect run through technology traveling is not only running but journey of self enjoying so try to better coordination by app

Local markets Nursing Homes etc an be setup at frequent intervals along with police stations so that if anything required during travel can be purchased easily and safely

proper communication signals can be provided by installing mobile towers at regular intervals in highways that will also help to generate money for long route road setups

Free wifi support can be provided at regular intervals at petrol pumps that also need to be setup at the interval of every 2 km with drinking water, restrooms

Vehicle repair and maintenance service centres must be provided at every 10 km with facility to pickup and drop vehicles round the clock all over week so that peoples will feel safe during travel
