It is just like acquiring car driving license.
1) Understand the basics of mining ,materials, purpose of mining and safety procedures in classroom
2) See videos of world class mining practices.
3) Have interactive session with visiting mining experts
4) Visit mines in India and abroad
5) Test on theory classes
6) Understand what and why mining
6) Go for 3 months on the job training
7) Get absorbed as permanent employee
One year is sufficient to prepare skilled man power in dedicated institutes.

On the job training is the best mode for skill development in mining sector because it is a skill that involves field work.

we import pistols,guns,ak47 in India. Our UP,Bihar craftsmen make desi kattas & arms which r used in elections for killing. Why cant the govt finance & make factories for them so criminals can be given employment & serve our nation. As they will have 24/7 jobs we wean them away from crime & rehabilitate them in mainstream. If Indian scientist can make MOM for cr 450 why cant these excellent craftsmen make cheap guns n arms for fraction of cost.Mr Modi/Parrikar incumbent on you to give them a chance.
