The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

After 5th standard, evaluation to be based on on 40% academics ( reduce theory & enhance practicals), 20% sports/games, 20% personal hobby, 20% social service. This will make a person physically fit, pursue his own interests+ contribute to nation. All the theory what we have learnt are not put to use practically. hence , learning burden or marks phobia to be reduced. Make the education practical and he be of use to nation. Education shd transform him to NATION FIRST.

It would be a great help for the general public if all the govt. departments concerned authorities phone number (Landline as well as Mobile) should be mentioned in the website of that department and more importantly phone should be picked up and answered by the concerned person. I found lot of websites where number is mentioned but nobody bothered to pick that call. Also, ask them to make a log for all incoming calls. For Eg. Pls try this..011-24351100 (Transport dept. Sarai Kale Khan)..

Currently mining system is running with very old strategy and already there are many issues ongoing so as people doesnt found mining an interesting field as profession even though the existing employees also fed up with the system , the deserving candidates havent promoted on time , partiality between diploma/degree holders etc

skill in mining sector should be developed in class room theoretically students should be given training on models up to class XII with case study and safety measurements. They will be given practical training after class XII and onward.

The later two methods of skill development are way better than sitting in a classroom.Earning a degree must be approached with proper and rational measure of practical field knowledge.
