Section 67 of Railway act prescribes that:- ...

Section 67 of Railway act prescribes that:-

1. No person shall take with him on a railway, or require a railway administration to carry such dangerous or offensive goods, as may be prescribed, except in accordance with the provisions of this section.

2. Non person shall take with him in a railway the goods referred to in sub-section (1) unless he gives a notice in writing of their dangerous or offensive nature to the railway servant authorized in this behalf.

3. No person shall entrust the goods referred to in sub-section (1) to a railway servant authorized in this behalf for carriage unless he distinctly marks on the outside of the package containing such goods their dangerous or offensive nature and gives a notice in writing of their dangerous or offensive nature to such railway servant.

4. If any railway servant has reason to believe that goods contained in a package are dangerous or offensive and notice as required under sub-section (2) or sub-section(3), as the case may be, in respect of such goods is not given, he may cause such package to be opened for the purpose of ascertaining its contents.

5. Notwithstanding anything contained in this section, any railway servant may refuse to accept any dangerous or offensive goods for carriage or stop, in transit, such goods or cause the same to be removed, as the case may be, if he has reason to believe that the provisions of this section for such carriage are not compiled with.

6. Nothing in this section shall be constructed to derogate from the provisions of the Indian Explosives Act, 1884 (4 of 1884), or any rule or order made under that Act, and nothing in sub-sections (4) and (5) shall be constructed to apply to any goods entrusted for carriage by order or on behalf of the Government or to any goods which a soldier, sailor, airman or any other officer of the armed forces of the Union or a police officer or a member of the Territorial Army of the National cadet Corps may take with him on a railway in the course of his employment or duty as such.

However passengers tend to carry inflammable and dangerous materials like firecrackers, petroleum products, explosives etc., resulting in fire accidents and loss of human life.

Suggest solutions for reducing fire accidents due to carrying of inflammable materials by passengers.

Respected sir, indian railway can issue their shares ,bonds for public and utilise their fund for development of indian railway.and at each station there is a sell and purchase counter .this help every citizen to get knowledge about investment and also railway can expand with development of our country by making indian people wealth

Respected sir, my humble request to you is that...no person should carry ...any sort of fire causing things such as gas cylinders,crackers,etc;this should be implemented soon and strictly..

Separate AC railway Station should be formed for Special/AC trains so that railway station may remain neat and clean. No thorough fare shoule be there. Later on all Platforms should be made AC and neat and clean. The food provided in Trains and Railway Station shold be properly checked. Category wise facilities should be provided.

Respected sir, my humble request to you the Bihar and Eastern UP bound train must be required chair car jan shatabdi express especially for patna,hajipur and varanasi so that many person suffer a lot during travelling even they sleep and sit on the floor thats really look shame and somewhere or other hurt our nation pride,

Each compartments should have minimum 3 fire extinguisher. Proper locking should made for ever fire extinguisher. So in case if any fire damage it'll help.

TTE should carry their own cash card to dispense tickets or fine charges to those passengers who donot have cash card. TTEs are earning thousands of rs. in providing their services.they also bribe to get selected..more TTEs should be be deployed in trains.so that each bogie can be checked before next station.honest collection will increase revenue. .

1. Kindly remove window grill or bars of trains and replace it with removable windows.this will facilitate ease of aporoach during accidents 2. The quality of linen especially blanket in ac coaches are pathetic.contract0r to be more accoutable. 3.Passenger etiquette to be put up so that passenger becomes responsible in keeping hygiene inside train including control of mobile use at night which are becoming nuisance at night. 4. Rail booking to be linked with aadhar for concessional fares.

Railway should deploy special teams including ex service persons so that they check and control tc bribe tacking for seat reservation and allow ticket less travel with little bribe, Indian rail loss huge amont here,which instead going to railway going to tc pocket.

Advantages of having specific exit and entry gates in Rly Stn.: 1. No escape for criminals like thieves, terrorists, and people without railways tickets. 2. Child labourers(tea, newspaper, tobacco vendors), could be dealt with seriously and more effectively. 3. Able beggars must be kept away from rly st, so that they search for job or givenjob with in the Rly. Stn. by the Stn. Master.
