The Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEF&CC)is the nodal agency in the administrative structure of the Central Government for the planning and promotion; co-ordination and overseeing the implementation of India's environmental and forestry policies and programs. The primary concern of the Ministry is the implementation of policies and programs related to the conservation of the country's natural resources including its lakes and rivers, its biodiversity, forests, and wildlife, ensuring the welfare of animals, and the prevention and abatement of pollution.
Get to know about PARIVESH
PARIVESH is a role-based workflow software application which has been developed by Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate change, Government of India for online submission and monitoring of proposals submitted by the proponents for seeking Environment, Forest, Wildlife and CRZ Clearances from Central, State and district level authorities. It automates the entire tracking of proposals which includes online submission of a new proposal, editing/updating the details of proposals and it displays status of the proposals at each stage of the workflow.
The Ministry intends to make PARIVESH a one-stop solution, delivering end-to-end functionality for all clearance procedures and associated stakeholder demands. The MoEF&CC intends to implement transformative improvements in PARIVESH to provide better and more timely service to all stakeholders. Furthermore, the system should strive to achieve minimal human interference with the policy of "Maximum Governance, Minimal Government."
In reference to the same, the Ministry invites the citizens across the country to participate in Tagline contest for PARIVESH along with the meaning.

2. Meaning of PARIVESH (Tip: An Umbrella for serving as green administration, Maximum Governance, Minimal Government etc)
Prize
The winning entries shall get a Rs. 10,000/- as 1st prize, Rs. 5,000/- as 2nd prize along with certification for contribution. The prize money will be payable after deduction of TDS. All winners would be required to give copyright of the design to the Government of India. Prize money will be transferred to the winner only through electronic transfer as per the bank details submitted by the winner via email.
