Certain citizen centric applications have been developed through the initiatives of DeitY. We solicit suitable names recommended by the citizens.
These IT initiatives are National Scholarship Portal, Meeseva, Xtending Licensing and Laboratory Node (XLN), eHospital and Human Resource Management System (HRMS).

National Scholarships Portal (NSP) is envisaged to be one-stop solution to implement entire scholarship process - student application, application receipt, processing, sanction and disbursal for different central ministries, state governments and other agencies. Ministries/Departments have implemented numbers of scholarship schemes under their jurisdiction such as Pre matric, Post matric, Merit-cum-means/Top Class etc. These schemes follow different procedures including handling the process manually leading to delay in disbursement and with least transparency. As PMO initiative, National Scholarships Portal is designed to ensure disbursement of central government scholarship schemes through single unified portal.
e-Hospital is an Hospital Management System based on workflow based ICT solution for Hospitals specifically meant for the hospitals in Government Sector. This is generic software which covers major functional areas like patient care, laboratory services, work flow based document/information exchange, hurnan resource and medical records management of a Hospital. It is a patient-centric system rather than a series of add-ons to a financial system. It is a web based solution using Free Open Source Software TFOSS) tools and conforms to HL7 Standards, for managing healthcare service delivery in public hospitals in India' The solution is made available to public hospitals in India as Software as a Services [SaaS) for accelerated infusion/ adoption of ICT tools and Healthcare Standards by large number of public hospitals. The application features includes ISO / IIIC 9t26 Certification, Based on HDF(HL7 Development Framework), Unicode based Indian Multilingual Support , Compliant with standards like Vocabulary- ICD-g, LOINC etc., Embedded User Manual, Comprehensive Reporting on various customizable parameters, Comprehens;ive Role based Access control and Security,Data Security and privacy, Audit logging of transar:tions, Powerful Search facility and tracking of patient history, Enables data sharing across various departments, Touch Screen Kiosk interface.

Also, in securing citizen services and availing benefits of governmental schemes & programs, MeeSeva offers a service delivery system that is Citizen centric, Safe, Faultless, Instant and Hassle-free.
Xtending Licensing and Laboratory Node (XLN)
Food & Drugs Control Administration IFDCA) is an authority responsible for issuing Licenses to Manufacturers and Sales Licenses to Retailers & Wholesalers of pharma related products. Stockiest, distributors & C&F agents also come under its purview. Enforcement is also an important duty of this department including monitoring quality of drugs being manufactured or coming from other states. Timely recall of sub-standard or spurious drugs after proper laboratory testing is also a very important function of the department. The services offered by XLN software includes Online Applications by stake holders (Retailers & Wholesalers, from their premises), e-File Movements of Files from field offices to head offices, Inspections & Monitoring of Legal Actions along with Court cases follow-Ups, Sampling & laboratory Testing, stopping distribution/Recall of substandard batches, e-Communication, e-Query, e-replies, and SMS, Online Licenses, MIS / RTI Compilations at various levels.
Human Resource Management System (HRMS)
The application is developed to store and retrieve all relevant details of government employees into a single unified system for better tenure management of employees. This will help in proper monitoring, manpower planning, recruitments, Postings, Promotion, Transfer based on employee skill set were essential. National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh has developed "HRMS", which brought a breakthrough in managing Human resource in Government efficiently and effectively.
