Swachh Bharat Mission is more than a campaign; it’s a people’s movement that has sparked real change and has fostered a cleaner, healthier environment in cities and villages across India. Now is the chance to for YOU to bring these impactful stories to life through your reels! We’re calling on all citizens to capture and share stories of how their ‘swabhav’ towards swachhata and public cleanliness changed in the past 10 years.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in collaboration with MyGov, invites you to participate in the "Reels for Swachh Bharat - Impact Stories from the Ground”. Be ready to share the impact of Swachh Bharat on your life or community. Join us in celebrating the impact of Swachh Bharat and inspire others with your story!
We’re calling on all citizens to capture and share:
1. Personal Reflections: How has your perspective on cleanliness evolved over the past 10 years?
2. Community Successes: Have you seen vibrant community clean-ups, innovative waste management projects, or inspiring local heroes making a difference in your city or village?
Your reel could be the catalyst that inspires others to embrace the motto, “Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskaar Swachhata”. Showcase how you and your community are shining bright and making swachhata a part of your daily routine today!
How to Participate:
1. Capture Your Story: Create a short reel (up to 60 seconds) that highlights a positive impact of the Mission in your life and in your local community. This could be about you are now a Pro-Planet Person and are adopting RRR initiatives in your daily routine, a successful waste management project in your community, a community clean-up event you took part in, an innovative local recycling initiative, or any other story demonstrating the Mission’s success and impact.
2. Showcase the Impact: Ensure your reel captures the essence of the story, including key details such as:
a) The problem and general attitude towards cleanliness before the Mission
b) The moment of change/the swachhata solution implemented locally
c) The visible results on ground along with timelines (if any), or changes in behaviour achieved
d) Testimonials or reactions from the community
3. The reel must be submitted as portrait-mode MP4 video, with a maximum duration of 60 seconds.
4. Submit: Upload your reel on the MyGov page & also social media platforms with the hashtag #SHS2024 #SwabhavSwachhata and tag @SwachhBharatGov @SwachhBharat. Include a brief description (up to 100 words) of your story and its impact.
Judging Criteria:
Entries will be evaluated based on:
1. Authenticity and relevance to Swachh Bharat Mission
2. Creativity and engagement
3. Clarity of the impact demonstrated
4. Overall quality of the reel (visuals, editing, and narration)
Additional Information:
1. By participating, you consent to the use of your reel in Swachh Bharat and Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) promotional materials.
2. Ensure your reel adheres to social media guidelines and does not include sensitive or inappropriate content.
Prizes:
1. First Prize: ₹50,000
2. Second Prize: ₹30,000
3. Third Prize: ₹20,000
4. Special Mention: ₹10,000 each for 5 additional entries
