The Department of Fisheries, in collaboration with MyGov, is excited to announce its upcoming photography contest, which aims to celebrate the enchanting and vital aquatic ecosystems that contribute to our world's biodiversity and sustainability.
This contest is open to all photography enthusiasts who are passionate about marine life, freshwater habitats, and the intricate relationships within these ecosystems.
Participants are encouraged to capture the inherent beauty and significance of aquatic ecosystems. By capturing stunning visuals of marine life, underwater landscapes, and the delicate balance of nature, participants will help raise awareness about the importance of preserving these ecosystems for future generations.

Eligibility Criteria
• The contest is open to all Indian citizens.
• Entry can be as an Individual or a Team (maximum five members) with ONLY one entry to be accepted. In case of multiple entries, the first entry submitted will be regarded as the final submission
Rewards:
Cash Prizes and a certificate of participation will be provided by the Ministry.
- First prize: Rs 5,000/-
- Second prize: Rs 3,000/-
- Third prize: Rs 2,000/-
