The flagship crop insurance scheme of the Government of India - the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) - has completed six years since its launch in 2016. Providing a comprehensive insurance cover against failure of the crop and thus, stabilising the income of the farmers, this scheme covers over 5.5 crore farmer applications on an average each year.
Objective
The objective of this activity is to get the farmer’s feedback on the ‘Meri Policy Mere Haath Campaign’ and engage their participation through the “Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Humari” Campaign. This activity would help in planning the various IEC activities for the upcoming Kharif 2022 season .

Top 3 winners will receive Prize money from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare:
First Prize: Rs. 21,000
Second Prize: Rs. 11,000
Third Prize: Rs. 5,000
How to Participate?
It's a simple 3 step process.
1. Record a small video with the insured farmers and ask him/her about experience.
2. Submit it on this contest page on mygov.in and fill the basic information like Name, District, State, Phone number and Crop Insurance Policy Number.
