The Ministry of Women and Child Development in collaboration with MyGov hosted the “India through My Eyes: Unity in Diversity” Painting Competition on the eve of Veer Bal Diwas.

The National Commission for Women, since its inception has been spearheading the cause of women. The Commission is committed to safeguarding the legal and Constitutional rights of women and cultivating gender equality, among other things.

Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), Ministry of Women and Child Development, celebrates Adoption Awareness Month every year in November to sensitize people about legal adoption, which emphasizes the need for children to feel loved and belong.

In pursuance of the National Commission for Women Act, of 1990, the National Commission for Women (NCW) was constituted on 31st January 1992 as a Statutory Body to safeguard and promote the rights and interests of women. It actively participates while discharging its mandated responsibilities for the development of women through seminars, webinars, consultations, hearings, meetings and conferences with various Government, Social, and Private Organizations, Stakeholders, Police Departments and many other organizations etc.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the National Level quiz competition on “Digital India Quiz on Stay Safe Online” held from 13th June – 13th July 2023. The Quiz is organized as part of the ‘Stay Safe Online’ campaign to sensitize internet users about online cyber risks and safety measures and promote safe online behavior / best practices on cyber hygiene among citizens.
