World Mental Health Day is celebrated on 10th October every year, with overall objective of raising issues of mental health around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health. Based on this objective, MoHFW is taking a unique initiative to inspire people with the stories of achievers who fought with any kind of mental health illness. Being open about mental health experiences and the journey of overcoming the same might be beneficial for others who are seeking for help to fight mental illness. To bring together the achievers (who fought with mental illness) as well as the seekers (who are looking for help to overcome mental health illness). Ministry of Health and Family Welfare invites people to share and inspire.

This World Health Day, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare invites people to share how they or someone they know fought with mental illness and came out with flying colours. #ShareToInspire

"I've spent most of my life and most of my friendships holding my breath and hoping that when people get close enough they won't leave, and fearing that it's a matter of time before they figure me out and go."

Performing: I make a living out of it. I get on stage and make people laugh. I’m currently on tour doing just that. And I love it. But (and there is a but) even in a dream job, I’m constantly acting like I’m fine when sometimes I’m not. Don’t we all do that though? I mean, that’s part of my job, to entertain when sometimes I hurt inside. But aren’t we all putting on a mask when we are asked a simple question: “How are you?”.So,not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves.

When we believe in ourself there is nothing can effect our state of happyness, majour cause of misery is disbelief in oneself. Remember there is no need of other person to judge you to be good or to make you happy. Comparison is a never ending battle that destroys happyness.lets start our day saying iam best and with a simple smile.live laugh and love.problem we are traveling with its not of its first kind and solution also, yet we suffer thinking we were the only one taking the pain.

Mental health is all about well-being of our soul. we need to have a feeling of satisfaction and a smile. Our body listens to our mind, try doing it. Life is an enjoyable trip. we got to believe in ourselfs and respect everything around us. Every problem has a solution, and this solution arises within us"only the same person can create the lock and its key".our problems can be solved only by us . Just stay calm and think about it....

From a shy & timid girl to a confident & passionate person, I've gone through a very critical stage in my life. I used to think that I'm good for nothing. But my compassion, my willpower & my determination helped me come out of the grey areas of life. Now I'm an inspiration for others. I'm a debater, author, motivational speaker and yes an ALL ROUNDER.I could do this only because I believed in myself and helping others to believe in their own self.Let's pledge together of making people happy!😊😇

"Are you idiot ? You are a mere weigh in this planet ! You are of no use " & the list goes on. Knowingly ir unknowingly we say so many things that may lead a person to depression or even SUICIDE!
