Government can't do everything, at the same time common men can't do things efficiently without help of government. I would like to propose a solution that will solve our main issues like BPLs, shelterless, clean public toilet, clean waste collection area and self sustaining. I would like to hear from all who are looking for better India. Avail me your valuable inputs on how I can move forward from here.

To make India clean, we should work from the root. The Panchayats, Municipalities and Corporations should provide better facilities to handle and process the waste in most effective way which suits that place. But, in many places the dust bins will overflow and dogs will spread it even more. If the waste is not handled properly by the authorities, it will be difficult to motivate people to use it effectively. Photographs of the waste dumped at the Ring road, Hassan, Karnataka is attached here.

Apart from the active efforts by the Central Government, state governments, municipal corporations, active involvement of the social organisations is required. For example in the markets we eat but throw away the wrappers, paper plates, plastic glasses, poly bags on the roads/streets in the market. It should be the responsibility of the market associations to keep clean. Dustbins should be provided in every corner by them. They should employ persons for educating customers to use the dustbins.

hello India.Today our country facing a major crisis ,yes it is waste. We need to dispose the waste at dustbin in public. But we are throwing it in roads.first there should be a law that who throws the wastes in public placeslike schools, roads and parks etc.,. should be punished .It can be anyone .It may be a people or a v.i.p.If this idea became a law then our country will be the most cleanest country in the world.come on!let's clean!!

Hello, Team Clean India! Yes I called it Team India...Because if you are reading this you are/or want to be a part of clean India. I am a Database Administrator in a leading MNC at Hyderabad. But, I was born and brought up in Lucknow.I recently visited Lucknow to meet my family and friends, when I reached there I found that there is simply no effect of clean India movement there. While here in Hyderabad I see even street vendors take responsibility of the garbage dump and take it away!

The influence of BJP extends beyond MPs to its MLAs and members of municipal bodies. The count of such leaders is in thousands and represents a significant ground level reach for the party. To effectively carry the message of NDA Government’s policies, the PM should convene a meeting of such people to communicate and make them ambassadors for further communication to the public at large. E.g., all BJP members of municipal corporations can be effective messengers of the Swatchh Bharat Mission.

- Members of unions / associations / political parties / NGOs / govt. take pledge on cleanliness. Empower them to stop others from doing so - Create a site where public can post pictures of offenders and action, thereby publicly shaming them. Details must be provided like vehicle numbers, date & time, location and if possible, names and addresses of offenders - Publishing of photos of offending places for immediate action by local bodies - Link release of grants to good implementation
