And to Answer the question: Yes the issues of Urban and Rural cleanliness should be tackled differently, a single approach will never work *Studying & acting on People Mindset is extremely important for the success of any project

P.S: I've settled in Bangalore now for work reasons but hail from a small village which still lacks most of the modern amenities which are considered pretty basic in cities like Bangalore. My heart still lies in the village and would really want to see some development

What rural India lacks today is Awareness. Government is doing a good job of propagating the Noble idea through all sorts of Media possible but the lack of education, awareness and the general disbelief on most government policies among Rural India is the reason for Slower Adoption. *You should empower your local leaders more and drive in smaller campaigns by also involving the educated rural youth population to get better results. Needless to say that proper investment on infra should follow

Sir, we need 2 very important things to clean india 1. Need to increase Bins at least by 20X (let's start with big cities) 2. Need to clean these bins promptly and regularly To implement, need to make public private partnership under some kind of social responsibility recognition program for public sector. Companies from public sector instal the bins and get the right of advertisement on it. The same company make some payment to the bin cleaner. In return, the co. get some reward/recognition

If people of India starts to carry their rubbish to a bin and if the bin is full or if a bin is not found then carry it back to home, India will be so much cleaner just with the cleaners who are already working. The cleaners will feel respected as well since they will see people respecting their work and not dirtying 10 seconds after they sweep. To focus our national campaign I hope we can focus on this one aspect.

Govt is creating a campaign for Swachh Bharat. While there are many fronts on this, the one that we should focus our nation wide campaign effort is on not throwing rubbish in the first place. In man hours spent cleaning, India probably spends much more hours then any other country. Our problem is not that we do not clean but we dirty too much. Instead of motivating people to take up a broom, we should talk about carrying our rubbish back to home if a rubbish bin is not found.

all the policians and the administrative class should be paid the minimum wage without any benifits like the normal people and they should survive with that payment paying their monthly bills and expenses.
