Any amount of effort for clean india cannot be possible unless the basic root cause is eradicated. Primarily the agenda should be to reduce garbage, cut the generation of garbage at its source. The more and more we produce items and goods for consumption, the more and more we generate waste. All maufactureres, retailers and end users should look at ways of reducing throw away items that is used along with a product. reduce creation of garbage automatically clean healthier india becomes reality.

A simple way municipal corporations and governments can contribute to Swachh Bharat is by strictly maintaining greenery in road dividers and pavements. This will add green cover for the environment, improve road aesthetics and even pose a barrier to jaywalking for increased road safety!

This is how Germany (Hamburg) are trying to solve the problem of public urination on walls. St. Pauli's Community of Interest (IG St. Pauli e.V.) initiated an action where frequented walls in the neighbourhood were sprayed with a superhydrophobic coating. This coating is so water-repellent that urine splashes right back. Link: http://www.sciencealert.com/a-german-city-is-using-hydrophobic-paint-to-splash-public-urinators-with-their-own-pee

Respected volunteers , Our cities, villages, national highways rroadside , the entry point of many cities are so dirty, stenchful that sometimes I think the whole idea of Swachh BHarat can only succed, when Govt bans on polythene , plastic pouched shampoo, oil etc. Most of the filth , poisionous gases due to fire of garbagges can be stopped. See the entry in DElhi from Agra by train , Byepass of Patna , calcutta, DElhi GT karnal road. Pl pressurise the thinkers to ban plastic and see the difference

I think the government must focus on a proper drainage system for existing as well as new cities that are being planned. The water logging problem has become a serious issue not only in metropolitan cities but also small cities. This will result in many more problems in future. Not just diseases and health issues but decaying of existing buildings as well. I think a proper drainage system is an essential part of any city and therefore needs attention in the existing circumstances.

STP providers are requested to be careful in adopting so called new techno-analogies as the current success rate is already embarrassing.

myGOV is not doing even bare minimum work for clean India. In a small housing complex of ours, there were two stray dogs bite cases yesterday and the entire colony is dirtied by stray dogs. For myGOV stray dogs are more precious than human beings. Let our rulers enjoy fruits of democracy. Jai Hind
