This is to draw attention of Current Goa Government, and its lack of implementation of swachh Bharat(clean India)and sanitation problem. Although Goa is known for its beautiful beaches,it is sad to see people openly defecate on the shoreline. This incident of open defecation is common on most of the beaches, and is really a sad site, embarrassing and disgusting.Cacra beach(Bambolim) is one such place where people carelessly defecate on the beach. We urge the officials to address this matter asap.

TOI news today - 5 lives lost but it's nobody's resp. Why myGOV should take responsibility. myGOV rather encourages illegal activities and the entiry Delhi region has enough proof for that. When modifications were made by owner of the GF flat just below my flat and the entire structure was vibrating, all my complaints to South Delhi Corpn, Police and even the then CM resulted in threats from the owner of GF flat & neighbourhood criminals. myGOV is seen giggling on every media (contd next)

it is said that cleaning should first be started at home.once we start doing small things at home it is only then we can achieve something big.for example if we start separating the dry waste and the kitchen waste and then dispose it it will be of great help for the scavengers to pick it up.also each and every one can form a small group of friends and go for cleaning in the near by parks, lakes or hills then we can aim at something high.may be the only the SWATCH BHARATH ANDOLAN will be a succes

It is a good movement...par starting achi hui ab sab fir se khatam ho gaya..hum bhi India ko clean rakhna chahte h..par naa to kisi road par dustbin milta h or agar milta h to waha regular safai nahi hoti..iske liye kise complaint kare kuch pata nahi...kai jagah safai hoti h to bs formality ke liye...koi creativity yaa kuch nai soch nahi milti...ye bhi kahi bs ek formality ban ke naa rah jayee

While I have been a follower of the PM since his Gujarat days because he speaks my language of efficiency, and having already instituted habits of cleanliness in my offices more than 16 years ago I believe that Swachh Bharat is a possibility in the medium term. I was however aghast to read a report on the inauguration of the Digital India campaign when all the top industrialists, well heeled and educated people attended and apparently left the venue littered with paper cups and plates.

How about a central body for clean India mission. Locally municipality and other bodies do cleaning operations but lacks in many fronts whether technology, optimized operations, global standards, etc. Why not have a central body to provide technology, global standards, suggest laws and educate mass to implement in a effective way. This body can provide guidelines in all aspects of cleanliness wherever it happens. It will standardize the whole process and have a uniform adaptability in all states

first of all indian roadways buses should be equipped with dustbins for dry waste so that people may not throw waste outside buses,as buses could be cleaned easily but cleaning of roads needs time.

Idea for Swach Bharat Abhiyan. A person throwing waste can be caught by a mobile phone. Which is a proof of person violating the law. And should be fined lets say Rs. 500/- So we can create a website for implementing Swach Bharat Abhiyan. Where photo or video of person throwing waste uploaded on the site should be set to trial and collect fine. Now The CATCH is half of the fine, i.e.Rs.250will be awarded to the person uploading the pic.Soon it will become a business.Rest we can imagine.

Municipality of any city plays a major role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the area. I'm a resident of Hazaribagh, Jharkhand and the municipality of my town remains in strike for most part of the year, as it is right now. SwaachBharat is a very novel initiative by our Honorable PM MR. Modi, but Sir, isn't it also important to first make the whole system effective and capable on its own, before seeking any support from the common man. Kno more abt the current situation @saketpatni
