Dear Sir Most of our surroundings in urban and rural areas are unclean because of dominantly organic waste. To some extant this can be tackled by setting up biogas plants in all areas especially near vegetable markets, housing colonies, cluster of restaurants, large hospitals,.The clean energy can be used for cooking to substitute wood and other pollutants. The remains can be sold as manure.Non biodegradable garbage can be recycled as much as possible. So investments into biogas plants helps.

I think that the responsibility may given to the village level officers to tells importance of cleanliness because of most of the village peoples are illiterate and don't know about that.....and given the instructions strictly to officers.....

Swachh Bharat is most important work of the Indian Citizen, whoever Politician, Government or Aam Public. But I think no one is interested, I live at Dayal Bagh, Faridabad, Haryana and whole area is stinking because of Water logging, there is no sewer system. Now i want draw an attention of our Government to look into the matter and try to solve the problem, whenever water logging not clear in the this type of area it not possible to achieve Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

The posts in this discussions are for short term solutions. Taking up brooms occasionally for street cleaning drives can only become a news in news papers. We have to go for long term self sustaining solution for the problem .Everyone knows that waste should be thrown in dust bins. Bins are to be dumped in garbage dump. But, problem here is people not following this. This is primarily because already there is lot of dirt on the streets and all around that people don't mind adding to it.
