The Government has issued Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order 2017 vide the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) Notification No.P-45021 /2/2017-B.E.-II dated 15.06.2017 to encourage ‘Make in India’ and to promote manufacturing and production of goods and services in India with a view to enhancing income and employment.

In furtherance of the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order 2017 notified vide reference cited above, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) hereby proposes to notify that Public procurement preference for domestically manufactured/ produced Cyber Security Products.

Each and every software sold/freely distributed in India like PDF,Photoshop,In-design etc should be compatible with LINUX(R). When we have operating system free of cost why Govt of India is forcing us to buy Windows(R)by paying not less than Rs.8000/-. In addition of other accessories software like Microsoft Words etc. The great servers of big companies run on Linux(R). But when it comes to PC we have to buy software. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation gives us back just few million in charity!!

Here are the list of criteria I'll take into consideration. Hardware and software should be open sourced to the procuring agency. Thorough reviewing (incentivized) has to be done to ensure its security. Hardware based security keys should be devised such that any attempt to disassemble it should essentially destroy the keys. Proprietary hardware should not be bought / shipped from any country with which India shares a border. Mobiles sold in India and their OSs should be invariable open sourced.

It should be same marking acheme as done in Defence procurement. IDDM most preferred Global outsourcing Least Preferred. This policy will boost Indian Industrial sector as well as improve employment infrastructure also. In addition to this there should be process of quantity split. Big projects should be bifurcated in 60:40 ratios so that other vendors also gets chance to design/develop/produce the equipments.

With Digital India gaining popularity and because there are now lots of apps in market, I think we need products like Data Loss Prevention to help prevent data thefts. In a country like ours where people keep signing into new apps, security of their personal data is of utmost importance.

Sir please don't ban the bitcoin.lot of People like me who are belongs from middle class family invested some money in Bitcoin for get some good returns. Please regulate it. Lot of people like will be hopeless. The new gen will lost their hopes and dreams

The existing cell numbers that are active has to be listed for ready reference in the web compulsorily as for IEMI numbers of cells.This will help to log in and find out immediately the name of the registered owner and his address and all.This will defeat the strength of most cyber crimes as they all operate only through cell phones. Automatically the same should get uploaded when once the cell phone is tagged to a number.It will to a great extent serve to prevent ATM frauds.
