In an endeavour to address the inadequacies of capacity constraints and improve its modal share in total freight eco system of the country, Indian Railways has come up with Draft National Rail Plan.

A draft of long term strategic plan called the National Rail Plan has been developed to plan infrastructural capacity enhancement along with strategies to increase modal share of the Railways. The National Rail Plan will be a common platform for all future infrastructural, business and financial planning of the Railways. This plan is being circulated among various Ministries for their views now. Railways aim to finalise the Final plan by January 2021.

Please implement centralized procurement process for all the railway project. So that any project head can see and order material from any devision to complete the project within time frame. So that extra time efforts for tender and work order for supply of material will be reduced. Hence project cost will be reduced and project will be completed within time.

First of all, I would like to congratulate and register my appreciation of RITES and AECOM for undertaking this Stupendous task. Preparing such a document and analyzing such large data and then making accrete Recommendations demand high appreciation for those who have put in serious and sincere efforts.

only crew and gaurd are currently working in biometric CMS but rest all are not included in biometric system so that allowing them many sorts of local adjustment in duty. All station must be in CCTV cover so that any untoward events occurring would be recorded. And all sidings of railway should have good resting place for crew&gaurd so that working will be smooth with good rest. At siding points Carriage & wagon staff be posted for checking up rakes and preparing report for safe operation.tks.

Making rail more comfortable, high speed and convenient is good but before privatization we must understand the earning business in rail is commercial and logistics. An innovative and integrated booking distribution system must be created at this time as later it might be difficult to get private sector to adopt the required digital platform.

Please allot funds and get complete all the pending rail route works in maharashtra .... especially in Western maharashtra ,Vidharbha and Marathwada region .

A general manager/DRM/executive officers are posted for two to three years in railway but subordinate supervisors like Dti/Li/etc. are serving in a same place for more than five to ten years due to their allegiance to some unions in rail making them localised boss and creating favouritsm.2nd-Each departmental promotion exam like Ldc/GDC goes for court cases aftermath is a practice now.3rd-Rrb recruits should be given some seniority.4-there be minimum 5yrs service for gp'd' eligible for promotion

why ex-havildar & jco are recruited in rail gp'd' service where they have to work as token porter,gang man & gate keeper etc. with very young employees of railway physically for very long hours without any seniority bestowed on them for their past service to nation. Any progressive mind citizen would not accept this fact how veterans of armed forces are subjected upon retirement. so in future youngsters will be reluctant to serve nation in armed force if such treatment is met out them later life
