As part of the Ministry of Urban Development’s Smart City Challenge, Udaipur Municipal Corporation has recently completed the round one of the citizen’s consultation. Based on the outcome of round one, Corporation is now preparing to undertake several activities for citizen’s engagement in round two. As part of round two, Udaipur Municipal Corporation now invites suggestions/ feedbacks on one of the priority area i.e. ‘Transportation’ required by Udaipur city to be smart. E.g. GPS based public transport, smart parking, etc.

You are requested to give your opinion on the services/solutions that are required in the Udaipur.

Last date for submission is 4th December, 2015.

full Adaptive Traffic Management System is a work system where new durations are implemented in real time, by optimizing signalized intersections' plan durations based on parameters such as traffic volume and tailing in order to minimize the average vehicular delay times and average stoppage numbers.

pollution free or low pollution public transport vehicles must be used in the city to avoid the pollution. public must use the public transport to reach to their destination like offices, picnic spots, so that many peoples can travel through single vehicle at a time instead of separate vehicles.

All roads should be levelled and sewage system should get better so that there is no water clogging which eventually leads to pits and cracks on the road and four wheelers should not be allowed in narrow roads of old city area during day time.

Four wheeler should not allowed at the inner part,cars specially block the roads at inner areas,battery operated transportation facility,parking facilities should be develop and people should follow traffic rules, parking at shops will not allowed better it done at one place or at parking lot.pedestrian should motivated.

We should focus on public transport i.e good and well maintained small city buses so that public can use them without any hesitation. This can reduce road traffic as well as fuel consumption.
