#Mangaluru like any other envisioned #smartcity must be self sustainable in the energy sector.By adequate investment in the renewable energy sector predominantly in Solar Energy we can generate vast amounts of energy to power houses and offices thereby, reducing the dependency on coal power plants where CO2 emissions cause global warming prove as a health hazard
#WasteManagement and segregation of waste is at the need of the hour
#Crime reduction in will speed up blocks preventingprogress

First of all 500 crores is too less to make any city smart'!!now you need to see that every ruppee is spent efficiently!so need of the hour is to set up It industries and to promote mangalore as an healthcare hub!I have mentioned these 2 cause mangalore has great potential in these sectors and people here are most welcoming!once youth in mangalore are engaged in their jobs,no one can stop mangalore from being the most peaceful city in india!

First I uld like to thank d PM n ministers who included Mangaluru in d smart city list. For developmnt Bengaluru will b chosen first either it may technology or any field. A tier2 city like Mangalore should b identified coz its a great repository of knowledge n educational hub. More MNC should cum to M'lor more job opportunities will b created n tht uld stop ppl moving frm M'lor to Mumbai or B'lor. Tourism should b developed. M'lor s d only city in Karnataka which has all 4 means of transport.

I would like to thank Mr.Modiji for this great vision and hard work for building smart city. Please concentrate on drainage and sewage systems.Rain harvesting is to be made compulsory for our city .Walkway to cross highways for senior persons and kids...since living cost is too high in mangalore, daily wages need to increased.

A good environment for startups, water hydrants, subways.. These are the things what we are looking for, other than tourist hubs, Internet connectivity etc
