Under the ‘Mission Smart City Saharanpur’, Saharanpur Municipal Corporation started preparation of SMART City Plan and formulate its own unique vision and strategies through citizen‘s & stakeholder’s views and suggestion on Smart City. Saharanpur Municipal Corporation requests all the citizens of Saharanpur Municipal Area to share their ideas, suggestions, vision and innovative solutions and grab this golden opportunity to be a part of this challenge to transform Saharanpur into SMART CITY.

Citizens are requested to suggest innovative, sustainable and SMART solutions for the Area Based Strategies:-

• Retrofitting (Planning and improvement of infrastructure in the existing built-up area);

• Redevelopment (Replacement of existing built-up area and co-creation of new layout with enhanced infrastructure based on smart solutions.

• Greenfield Development (planning and development in new areas) and also viable

• PAN City Focus on an issue or area – improvement of governance, infrastructure or services.

Saharanpur Municipal Corporation is looking forward for valuable suggestions from all the citizens of Municipal Corporation.

The last date to submit your suggestions/ comments is 4th December, 2015.

In my view, implement a strict ban on polythene bags. It will check chocked drains, water logging and pollution. Waste management should be started. People should be asked to segregate their home waste before dumping. Issue ID cards to rag pickers and include them in this initiative. Make it compulsory for new buildings to have terrace gardens. Give concession in home tax or electricity bill to those who have plants or garden in their home. Limit the number of Puja samitis.

कूड़ा निष्पादन के लिए इस समय शहर में नगर निगम और मुस्कान ज्योति सक्रीय हैं | जो इसके इतने बड़े क्षेत्र को देखते हुए उचित कार्य नहीं कर पा रहे हैं | शहर में एक बड़ा वर्ग सफाई व्यवस्था के लिए लोकल या प्राइवेट सफाई कर्मी के ऊपर निर्भर है | ये सफाई कर्मी कूड़े का समुचित निष्पादन करने में सक्षम नहीं है और इनके द्वारा इकठ्ठा किया गया कबाड़ जगह जगह पड़ा रहता है | इन सफाई कर्मियों को सही तरीके से नियंत्रित करने की जरुरत है | अगर प्रत्येक कॉलोनी के आस पास कुछ नगर निगम के कबाड़ दान रख दिए जाए और उनके समय से खाली

शहर में काम करने वाली क्रेजी ग्रीन संस्था को अगर समुचित मदद की जाए तो संस्था पूरे शहर की हरियाली को कई गुना बढा सकती है | क्रेजी ग्रीन के पास इस कार्य को करने का नौ साल का अनुभव भी है और स्वयं सेवको की एक पूरी फ़ौज भी है | हरित पट्टी विकसित करते समय इस बात का ध्यान रखना बेहद जरूरी है की पौधों का चयन सावधानी से और वहाँ रहने वाले लोगो की इच्छा को ध्यान में रखते हुए किया जाए |

विकसित शहर होने का अर्थ शहर की हरित पट्टी का और सघन होना है | पूरे शहर में विभिन्न कोलोनियो में बने पार्क, शहर के बीचो बीच बहती नदियों के किनारे की जगहे, सभी प्राथमिक एवं माध्यमिक विद्यालय, विभिन्न कालेजो के खेल के मैदान, शहर की पानी की टंकियां ,मंदिर और विभिन्न धार्मिक स्थान , कब्रिस्तान एवं शमशान घाट, शहर की चोडी सडको के किनारे और डिवाइडर पर सघन वृक्षारोपण किया जा सकता है

बड़े भार वाहनों पर शहर में आने पर प्रतिबन्ध लगाया जाय। पशुओं पर शहर में रोक लगे। divider के जगह जगह कट बंद हों।
