The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

1.Online application of all Services, Licences, Permissions, Facilities, Complaints etc. 2.Transparency & Online records of all Govt. activities & Expenditures 3.Strong laws & punishments 4.Revise Reservation Policy poverty/status wise instead of cast wise to be coned....

It is an area where there is plenty and beautiful natural resources which only needs to be touched by the human house. There is the immense scope of harvesting the nature rentable renounces in formof mater energy for generation electricity, beside that there is the public and civilizes of pasighat who would like to and give their fullest support for developing pasighat as a smart city.

our india is a country in which we believe in integrity in diversity unity in diversity prosperity in agricultural sector and innovation in technology but on other hand smart city is one which must be inculcated to basic education reforms, better drainage system

Only trees and grass can make our cities beautiful and smart. Focus on covering open land by grass which will reduce dust as grass holds the soil firmly. How plantation in cities will help to make city smart 1) Reduction in pollution as trees release oxygen 2) drop in temperature. Global warming is a big issue. Trees will help. 3) trees will hold soil and water 4) trees will help to bring monsoon on time. Compulsion of CNG and electric vehicles is must for smart city.

The central govt need to know that this smart city scheme is the one and only way to develop the centurial old town pasighat. for many years the development has been minimum. the lack of electricity, the lack of awareness ,the lack of discipline in infrastructure like roads ,bridges etc. it is high time the central govt ponder our problems select it on top20 cities.

The city of Pasighat requires to ensure basic infrastructure services to enable a decent quality of life in urban pockets and a clean and sustainable environment and adoption of smart solutions and providing more public spaces to poor bag the smart city scheme.

Essential facilities are: 1. Road and transport. 2. Medical and health facilities. 3. Food and water 4. Power and energy. 5. Modernized schools and colleges.

A citizen of a smart city would have priorities for a smart solution towards all public utility service as the maiden endeavor of the govt.to make the city smart.Introduction of smart city for utility services such as water supply sewerage solid waste management all different mode of public transports electricity supply ration shops milk booths tele-communication services internet facilities and many other evolving services would be a smart step towards achieving the goal.
