Smart cities must go beyond infrastructure and technologies. Smart cities are created by smart people who help create an identity of the city.

The smart city concept from the union govt. Of india is a path breaking effort in lifting the standard of living of its citizens and to create and find out the smartness within us. As a citizen of pasighat it is privilege and challenge to accept opportunity. I would expect cooperation from every wake of life to make pasighat the smartest city among all other cities of this beautiful country.

Tourism: preserve the culture and tradition, generate employment opportunities and boost the economy.
Power: Encourage use of solar power, energy efficient appliances and most importantly educate to save energy.
Education: We have quite a good number of school, college and university. Monitor the quality of education rather than quantity.
Telecommunication & IT: Really need improvement. In the age of IT, internet connectivity is 101% required as without information nothing can be done.

Can't skip any section. But, I prioritize those alternates which not only improves the living standard but gives economic boost and generate employment opportunities. E.g Power can be harnessed from sun, water and wind. All are renewable source of energy. Existing facilities could be improved later, it would be wise to bring new positive changes. We can, if we change. Change that is positive. All change is not growth as all movement is not forward. We must accept changes that helps us rise!

It is hard to improve the living standard of people unless there is employment generation. Hence, I wud like to request planners to take into account the employment generation while planning any development schemes.
