Earlier we thought main market of Pasighat is very big and specious but today town planner may find it difficult for curbing out for parking lot, avenue plantation or beautification, pedestrian path, local vegetable sellers. Exposure to main road, hustle bustle of veg/fruit selling makes the market looks odd. It needs shed to hide from the passerby/outsider visitors.

SMART CITY is sure to be suffixed with PASIGHAT. Fingers crossed! But, project implementation monitoring team will play the most important role above all.Members entrusted with the task should be appointed/elected wisely for assured implementation.

Parling lots may be provided at various location and pedestrian path may be given more emphasize especially in market area, offices and public premises so as to encourage pedestrains more in such premises. This way we can reduce air pollution and also traffic congestion.

In health sector, a medical college would be more appropriate. Simply upgrading the hospital with insufficient no of patients wont fetch us good doctors but a medical college will do it. Various medical facilities, in fact, will follow suitably in no time once a college is set up.

Along with infrastructural development Pasighat should be a green city. The forest areas near proposed smart city Pasighat should be protected from deforestation. For the safety & to make Pasighat a green city the areas nearby Siang & Sibokorong rivers should be properly bounded & ornamental trees should be planted along it.Many recreational parks & lawns should be developed in different areas of the city.Beauty & greenery of Pasighat should be maintained along with smart city developments.
