The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

1.Electricity should be develop. 2.Transportation should be easy. 3.Rural side should be more develop. 4.Farmer should be given more facilities. 5.NGO should be established. 6.Medical or hospital should be clean

1. We need to improve electricity. 2. We need to have water sufficient. 3 Reconstruction of road which is damages. 4. Pasighat Should improve in transportation. 5. Should have dusbin and toilets in market area.

A developed urban area that creates sustainable economic development and high quality of life by excelling in multiple key areas; economy, mobility, environment, people, living, and government. Excelling in these key areas can be done so through strong human capital, social capital, and/or ICT infrastructure. So Pasighat may also needed all above factors to make Smart City

Presence of Medical college/ Engineering college at Pasighat is extremely required for the betterment of the futuire generation. Besides that Train communication/Air communication from Pasighat to all vulnerable places should be abailable

Apart from basic amenities like electricity, water supply etc what i wish for smart city Pasighat is SMART PEOPLE's participation in really making Pasighat a real Smart City that we all dream of. In my opinion if people are smart, automatically everything will come into its place. We just need to broaden our thoughts and actions and be socially concious. I see a futuristic PAsighat a dream come true.

To make Paighat as smart city uses digital technologies or information and communication technologies (ICT) to enhance quality and performance of urban services, to reduce costs and resource consumption, and to engage more effectively and actively with its citizens.
