The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

I would like to suggest that the pasighat where i won being reside is developing but a good things is that the pasighat town is being choosen under the hundred Smartcity.

1.Housing(affordable & quality housing for all) 2.Utilities(24X7 water supply,24X7 electricity & street light) 3.Commercial infrastructure(vegetable market/fish markets/street vendor places) 4.Health services(primary health care/hospital/nursing homes/diagnostics) Mrs-Gebi megu(Tayeng)

14. In fact both CTC and Organic tea produce in this District is found to a superior one in respect of its liquor and flavour because of which demand in other city is high. Therefore, not only tea grower but also the farmers are to be encouraged for producing organic agri/horti products. In such a process, the concern deptt has to provide some incentive like free transportation or good quality seeds. It will bring name and fame for the Pasighat.

First of all and welcome the Smart city Pasighat. My Suggestion are as follows. 1. To make a tank at Zero point of Pane Korong(river)and supply it to lower belt of Pasighat and market area. 2. To support the Siang Hydro Project (Dam) for Electricity and while supporting it let us discuss and look for rehabilitation of affected areas and villages 3. lastly, let us have a civic sense. _Shri Tanga Taloh,high Region

(i)By providing smart class to all these school and colleges. (ii)By making subway over the highways .(iii)By making of best playground like cricket, Badminton etc.for the sports lover(iv)Opening of metro train to provide low wages of transportation facilities. (Vijay Kr.Yadav)
