The citizens of Lucknow should take responsibility of keeping the city clean. People should obey traffic rules and violators should be punished promptly without any discrimination. The law should be one for all and people should be deterred from taking undue advantage of their position and power. The rich tradition and mannerism this City of Nawabs should be kept alive. Government should endeavor to provide good civic amenities, parking facilities, modern public transport and fully Wi-Fi city.

There are many problems faced by the people of Lucknow such as inefficient waste disposal, encroachment, parking woes etc. Unless all these problems are solved, the city cannot become a Smart City. The residents, on their part, should keep their surroundings clean and dispose of waste only where it is meant to, as a first step towards making Lucknow a smart city. Planting trees, car pooling, etc. are other steps that we as individuals can undertake.
