Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

We request you to post your valuable suggestions on or before 25/05/2016.

सारे भारत को, ओर हमारे Allahabad को स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने के लिए जो सबसे ज़रूरी पहल है, वो है सबसे पहले निचली बस्तियों को जहां गालियां होती हैं, सकरे रास्ते होते हैं, उनमे भरपूर सुधार/सुविधा ईमानदारी से देना। क्यूंकि जिसे हम पाश कॉलोनी कहते हैं वहाँ रहने वाले खुद इतने रसुखदार ओर अपप्रोच वाले होते हैं की अपने सारे काम फोन पर ही करा लेते हैं ओर उनके काम आसानी से हो जाते हैं, चाहे जैसा भी काम क्यूँ न हो। परेशानी तो हम जैसे गरीब लोगों के साथ होती है

Cleanliness should be the first priority. Drainage system need to be improved. Develop Allahabad but not on the cost of environment.

i wish to eliminate model wine shops both English and Country made from near Kalyani devi petrol pump area in front of shagun palace, and strict control on noise levels in the marriage halls in large nos in Attarsuiya and Kalyani devi area. Both these are a huge menace and dent the peace of a decent locality.

Free door to door medical checkup should done once in years. All the information/scheme should be online no information should be hide so customer and citizens are well educated about their right and responsibility.

Devloping few areas such as Azad Park and road from Dhobi Ghat will not make Allahabad Smart What Chowk Katra Hewit Road any solution for traffice control enchorchme stray and dairy animals in road any solution for it?

Toll free number should be given by nigam so. That citizens should take every kind of information at their place. With the help of smart card- tariff chalan paid by rider of vehicles should be paid at Bank only no amount should be deposit to traffic police.

first of all any #smartCity would be smart when citizen of that city are smart. so, lets start the awareness from children first. there should be proper monthly basis classes or seminars on manners & etiquette in schools and other institution. so that the know how to make this city & this country clean & smart.
