The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

it is very sorrowful for the General candidate of the country. who want to get govt.job. they have to pay ten times more money than the reserved one. i want to ask govt.that whether govt can determine that General students are always economically strong? or Reserved are always economically weak? why govt. is providing this by depriving the General candidates.? is there any provision in the constitution which says that reservation can be provided by depriving one.?

After 66 Years of Independence of India, Indian Govt should hand over Capital Intensive Companies to Private Sector, to put money and it should be on Revenue Sharing basis. Not only on Built Operate & Transfer Basis.

Dear Sir, The DRDO has not recruited scientist at entry level for more than 4-5 years. The process of recruitment is also questionable. The qualification is BE/Btech, at that level there is no research attitude. On the other hand, PhD/ Research graduates are unemployed. Following this way our country is not going to be independent in manufacturing of defense sector. Kindly do something...
