The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Skill Development Initiative : Our school going children should get learned with either one extra Indian language and one foreign language. With this Skill development and job creation both will get achieved. Students will get acquainted with newer workable languages and language teachers will get interstate job.

Sir, Both sector should work with synery for better results. I think target +2 students to participate in this opportunity driven programme in concerned areas. Govt should ensure with the help of Ministry of HRD for quick action towards all academic councils (state or CBSE/ ICSE etc) So that needy students easily get some benifit from this program. Good Luck.

@PMOIndia, @narendramodi, Sir unless you link collection of all taxes with use of unique id issued only through PMO govt never collect proper taxes from all Indians / business / pvt / govt sectors. At present only some govt/pvt servants, Indians / business/pvt / govt sectors are paying proper taxes. Govt fails to collect 100% taxes from all Indians / business / pvt / govt sectors. Sir please take early initiatives to collect 100% taxes.

@PMOIndia, @narendramodi, Sir if any financial scam like 2G, Sarada, Chara etc happens in India it proves our finance minister is not fit for the post. Sir why govt has given the chance to all Indians to involve with corruption. Sir why govt doesn't implement transparent policy like use of unique id only through PMO to all Indians / business / pvt / govt sectors & link it with each cash / bank transaction, purchase of land / building / vehicles / diamond / gold / any property, ie in all fields.
