Driving an electric vehicle can help you reduce your carbon footprint because there will be zero tailpipe emissions. You can reduce the environmental impact of charging your vehicle further by choosing renewable energy options for home electricity.

The running cost of an electric vehicle is much lower than an equivalent petrol or diesel vehicle. Electric vehicles use electricity to charge their batteries instead of using fossil fuels like petrol or diesel. Electric vehicles are more efficient, and that combined with the electricity cost means that charging an electric vehicle is cheaper than filling petrol or diesel for your travel requirements. Using renewable energy sources can make the use of electric vehicles more eco-friendly. The electricity cost can be reduced further if charging is done with the help of renewable energy sources installed at home, such as solar panels.

Root cause- population- & inadequacy of infra , utilities , civic facilities matching population. Even Before EV, How were /are Tokyo, Singapore managing. Is EV really helpful or will it go the plastic way- creating more harm .
traffic and usage discipline begin with higher secondary school.. Maximum fines and punishments after warnings should be levied here.
EV rental bikes every where for local use so that maximum use ,less cost, minimum parking space, community maintenance. Don't go the tractor way. Make use of public vehicles a desired trait. begin with mp/mla/babus maibaaps. Y should they have/use special exclusive vehicles with public money . Not seen 1 attempt to minimize cost behavour change
Make essential maintenance and service do it yourself- built in design- Cars have now yearly service. Must be same 4 EV .
India - how to keep safe. people carry lot of loads - be it laundry, courier , food and even household. Size should be adequate. No oversize. keep it safe

We are promoting EVs.
It will help us to reduce carbon footprints.
But what happens in the night when street lights are switched "On' ?
E-Rickshaws are charged illegally from street light poles. This not only amounts to power theft but also makes the poles dangerous for every one.
Any animal or human can come in contact with live wires in night accidentaly while moving on foot path.
Promote EV and innovate new Lighting Poles.
We move one step forward and two steps backward.
