Shivamogga City Corporation, Shivamogga in Karnataka State has been selected by the Ministry of Urban Development as one of the 100 smart cities to participate in the Smart City Challenge Stage-2 by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. Shivamogga City is the head quarter of malnad region located on the Western Ghats. Mainly Shivamogga City is known for its culture, education and commerce.

Shivamogga City Corporation Shivamogga has to submit a Smart City Proposal (SCP) to the Ministry of Urban Development, GOI which shall outline the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders unfolding the aspiration of people matched with the vision contained in the smart city proposal.

After first round of consultation and with the result of citizen aspirations we are uploading the main features of the proposal for citizen views. The residents are requested to post their suggestion pertaining to the proposal.

Encroachments of public space is not covered under the subjects mentioned under Municipal Corporation. All illegal small businesses and unauthorised structures of any size should be removed

Pre-paid auto service at Railway station and Bus-stand to be set up. City buses to be expanded to all areas, especially to new extensions. Introduce Govt. city bus services also. Night beat/patrolling in all areas by police to be taken up daily. Public paid toilets in all extensions necessary. Conserve the available ponds/lake and develop them, ex: Navule lake.

1.agra mai tajmahal hone ke kaaran sabse mahatbapur yeh hai ki yha per international airport hona chahiye. 2. agra ko clean & green rakhna chahiye 3. agra me peene ki saaf pani ki bayabasta honi chahiye 4. agra me trafic system sahi hona chahiye.

Shivamogga is a beautiful place , lot of scope on tourism. Here are some points we can add more beauty to it. 1. We can expect heavy rain in this area: So major concern is proper roads . 2. There are less trains from Bangalore and we can connect with help of bullet trains for speed commute . From shimoga Hubli-Dharwad is near can make link by connecting bangalore-shimvamogga-hubli-dharwad and Udupi-Mangalore 3. tourism can be improved in shivamogga. lots of beautiful places . 4.
