1)government should provide basic amenities to the people involved in these industry and should promote them economically.
2) ancient indian art should be revived and should be promoted into the local and international market.
3) subsidies and tax benifit should be given on these product so that it's cost price becomes low and common man can also buy it.

Fashion is an art as well as mirror of our culture. It is the way to express yourself to the world who you are and what you want to be next.It also increases the benefit of the society.Fashion gives happiness to rich people by spending money and employment to poor people. The people working in this field gets very much confidence and are rewarded for all hard work.It is mistaken by society that Youngsters who pay more attention to fashion are less attentive to their studies."Skilled profession"

There are stores like Pantaloons, big bazaar and Lifestyle in cities where public used to purchase many kind of goods available in the market. So, like this there should be stores opened by govt. of India in cities where common man can find the varieties of Indian handlooms and handicrafts at reasonable cost without adding any agent charges because agent will be govt. of India. This will definitely increase the sales and obviously promote handlooms and handicrafts.

the Old name of Fabric can be used and marketing hype is needed to create/generate the glamour of old Indian fabric with quality assurance , Corrupt Govt. officials may destroy the purpose of Branding and highest credible TATA may be involved for the Promotion of Fabric with quality, Brand. Icon of the society like Modi himself, Legend Kapil, Mahanayak Amitabh ,Sachin and other players/stars may be involved.Reference with National freedom movement leader may linked and Advertised by iocns.

Most international brands had their start in India. So why can't Indians start an Indian brand like Basics 029 which has its root in Aminjikarai, Chennai-29. There is nothing that is impossible to achieve by Indians. Barat mata ki jai!!!

3 types of Assam silk: Eri, Muga and Pat can be explored and used as per modern fashion requirement. What Mahatma Gandhi commented in 1946 that "Assamese women weave dreams on their looms" still holds good. Sualkhuchi, a small town near Guwahati can supply best quality silk @ reasonable cost if supported properly.
