The fashion industry represents a major and critical component of the Indian textile industry. Indian fashion designers have created a place for themselves in the International market by dint of their creativity and hard work. Dealing with the top segment of the textile industry, the fashion designers owe certain responsibility towards the traditional handloom weavers and handicraft artisans in the unorganised sector on the other end of the textile industry.

Handloom and handicraft products of our country form a part of our rich tradition and culture and provide livelihood to crores of people next to agriculture in the rural areas. Hon’ble Prime Minister has laid stress on linking the handloom and handicrafts with fashion industry for value addition and exploring new markets, which will increase the earnings of the weavers/artisans on a sustainable basis. Accordingly, Ministry of Textiles has taken up promotion of handloom and handicraft with fashion under the ‘Make in India’ initiative of Hon’ble Prime Minister giving specific stress on “Zero defect and Zero effect”, “Skill, Scale, and Speed” for boosting up production, employment and export on a large scale for achieving the objective of making the growth participative and inclusive “Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas”.

As a part of this endeavour, efforts are being made for encouraging the handloom weavers and handicraft artisans for producing quality fabrics as per market demand. Steps are being taken to organise them into groups and provide required support for design development, training, looms, accessories, raw material etc., for weaving fabrics/making handicraft items with quality as per market demand. Common Facilities Centre with godown for storing raw material finished product office with internet facilities, rest room and training shed will be set up at a cost of about Rs. 50 lkahs for a group of weavers/artisans. The entrepreneurs dealing with fashion fabrics will be linked up with such groups for marketing including export. The Development Commissioner (Handlooms)/(Handicrafts) is taking necessary steps in this regard with the help of the Weavers’ Service Centres and concerned State Government. Further due attention is being given to social compliance like checking any incidence of child labour and environmental compliance like checking pollution of any kind for creating “Win-Win” situation and making the growth sustainable.

The entrepreneurs dealing with fashion fabrics are invited to send their choice and views.

The last date for submission of entries is 30th April, 2015.

Kya hum aur hamari sarkarein chahein wo Kendra Sarkar ho ya rajya ki sarkarein, transport ki samasya ke prati gambheer hain ? Yadi hain, to wo Sarkar me alag alag departments me overlapping time schedule kyon nahin latey, jaise 8am to 4 pm, 10 am to 6pm, 12 pm to 8pm. Is overlapping working timetime( revenue sector, general sector, soxcial services sector wise) yadi alag alag ministry mein alag alag ho to ek hi samay mein transport par pressure nahin padega tatha traffic bhi smooth hoga.

IAS Officers as Non Functional Status basis and Jawans have to satisfy with Modified Assured Carrier Progression (MACP) only. The pay scales of Jawans are not upgraded. While in Civil, the pay scales of Government employees are upgraded and getting better Grade Pay Comparison to other ranks of defence personal. What we get in this pay commission? Only the mirror image of British Rule.

PROMOTION & PAY SCALESAfter independence, culture of British forces was adopted as heritance as Indians (Slaves)- Soldier, Officers (The English- master)and continued till date. Is it shame for us? Whenever any points for the welfare of defence personal is raised, the officers always get” MALAI or CREAM” of the total final implication. After implementation of AVC report. The promotions of officers became very fast up to Lt Col/ Wing Commander in 13 years (in Time Scale). (Earlier in selection

INJUSTICE IN DEFENCE FORCES Dear Sir...!, Bureaucracy and political system is the main hurdle to clear the pay commission related anomalies of defence forces. We serve the nation, but we are not contributing to the vote bank system of Indian politics due to service exigencies. Hence, politicians are not paying attention to wards us. Bureaucrats do not want to place armed force officers equivalent to them. I want to discuss few points related to defence forces: After

Lifetime pension for one tenure of politicians is gross injustice to the rest of the government servants who have to put in minimum years of service, not less than 20 years, and drain on public exchequer . Let us fight to reverse this policy by the new Govt. Have the will to pass it on. No one has been able to explain to me why young men & women serve in the Military for 20 years or more, risking their lives protecting your freedom only get 50% of their pay o

#MinistryofTextile Every minister should prefer Khadi or COTTON CLOTHS to wear on so many public occasions.like on REPUBLIC DAY, INDEPENDENCE DAY, MEETING WITH FORIEGN DELEGATES, AND SO MANY OTHER Occasions. because ministers are representative of common man. if they start to wear #KHADI #INDIAN FABRIC instead of imported cloths.Because khadi & cotton is very comfortable to wear according to Indian weather.by doing this they can influence so many people, both inside&outside of the country.
