The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India envisages a judicial system that is more accessible, efficient, and equitable for every individual who engages with the justice delivery system. The right of access to justice, guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution encompasses the right to access live court proceedings.

To imbue greater transparency, inclusivity and foster access to justice, the e-Committee has undertaken the project of live streaming of court proceedings on priority. This will enable access to live court proceedings, including on matters of public interest to citizens, journalists, civil society, academicians, and law students on a real-time basis, which was not otherwise possible owing to geographical, logistical, or infrastructural issues.

The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India invites inputs, feedback, and suggestions on the Draft Model Rules for Live-Streaming and Recording of Court Proceedings.

Click here to read the Draft Model Rules for Live-Streaming and Recording of Court Proceedings.

The last date to receive Suggestions/Inputs is 30th June 2021.

To make proceedings paperless and digital ,with precaution of its preserving ,recording can be done , live streaming is not necessary , as no one is interested in crimes and dispute of others ,on the contrary it may be exploited by misusing it and learning wrong tricks ,only important process may be recorded ,also better to record statements of accused ,as he is never heard or understood by police or media ,but alleged with an prejudiced inhuman mindset ,apart from advocate ,accused to be heard

It is not appropriate to show the live streaming of court work. other than this we require to work on fast track court because many cases are pending. And a funny thing is the person who involved in crime, to proove his crime and to punishment that is court results out before he die. so live streaming of court work is not appropriate and unnecessary.

The Government may construct multi-storied buildings over piller over the main road and can provide e-court facilities at there in addition to other facilities. Any member of the public can use the e-court facilities to provide online or offline voice records or video records at the e-court facilities. The government may keep the records in the designated data center for the prescribed time period.

The live streaming facilities shall be available at all village offices and the Government may consider the meeting through a whatsapp or Google meet and all such meeting through technological means are valid mode of communication and cost effective mode of administration too.

Great idea to be appreciated. This will bring transparency to the system. It has to categorize - eg. health, property, business, education, relations, etc A free registration/newsletter to the interested candidates above 18 can register and see the proceedings, this will make them learn the process (career choice) and minimize the mistakes The hearings, punishment, and end of each issue has to be brought into FastTrack through the following link or number Strick punishment much & as needed
