Sir, Despite announcement by our PM 4 months ago, opening of Sukanya Samridhi Account in banks is not done. As of now it is available with post office only. However news paper says that this can be opened in banks as well as post office. Pl do something for passing it to workable level and pl dont leave for the sake of mere announcement only.

Govt should educate people about ill effect of declining sex ratio in favour of male-116 per 100 female. If this will continue, there will be a marriage squeeze. By 2050, 191 male will be chasing 100 female for marriage and this number of unmarried male will rise if the ratio is not brought to normal 105(M)/100(F). The unmarried unemployed men will be engaged in crime, rape, prostitution etc. The Govt must come severely on doctors who are causing the missing of female child of 43 millions/year.

To empower feminine gender in totality, I opine that there should be a kind of concession in the admission fees at all levels of education across all classes for a girl to the tune of 50% of the actual fee.

Though sukanya samridhi scheme was launched with much fanfare by our Honourable PM, but inspite of RBI circular dated 10th march, no bank branch is opening this account.KINDLY expedite to open this account on priority Basis
