Manthan is a digital platform developed by the Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India to promote collaboration at scale between industry and the scientific research and innovation ecosystem to help meet India’s national targets and United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This platform aims to empower various stakeholders to scale up the interactions with researchers/innovators and facilitate R&D/innovation, share challenges focused on emerging technologies, other scientific interventions, as well as those with a social impact.

Office of Principal Scientific Adviser is pleased to launch a competition to pick the minds of all Indians on “Role of Manthan in empowering women entrepreneurs and startups to scale up innovation for a larger social impact”.
The objective of this competition is to capture intriguing insights about how Manthan is making a difference in Scientific research and innovation ecosystem.

This competition is open to all Indian nationals registered with MyGov, age no bar.
Word Limit for the Idea:
• The idea should be within the 500* word limit.
• The idea should not exceed the word limit. This would lead to disqualification.

Last date for submission of the entries will be 30th April 2023.

Manthan this was created to empower the lifes of women " it is impossible to think about welfare of the world unless the condition of the women is improved it is impossible for a bird to fly on only one wing lswami Vivek Anand. Empowering women is very crucial for the development of the country even though government has encouraged women in many ways still there was lack of education,helath and safety,professional inequality plays a major role like this programmes will encourage women and skill development enannching there skills directly and reduce their dependence on their husband's whuch in turn will increase their decision making power in productive expenditure and family matters.

Good morning everyone!! It is proud to say that India is the top leading country in the form of Foreign Diplomacy, or Investment. India is now a global emerging superpower. It is because with the Great "Sankalp" which the present PM ands our citizens have taken. Manthan is an opportunity to each and every women, who want to create wonders .It is a digital platform which connects various Innovations and small scale industry, which help in succeeding the Developmental goals. One of the main goals is Women empowerment and gender equality.India can achieve this if Womens are thought the , educated and makke them realize their real rights and citizens. Womens are very important beacuse For a succesfull nation women should always have a major role from the development of country to even to the family. The value and roles of a women should be realized by each and evrybody. And Manthan helps in it, it benefits the women in the forms of Scientifical inventions or through Business. Jai Hind!!

Women empowerment is one of the most important and critical for our country. We all realize its important, still women are not being encouraged to work. The greatest resistance is from a women itself especially from mother-in-laws. Only 32% of married women are employed in India after marriage. As a women is considered more productive and essential to do household work. Her contribution to the country's economy often shadowed. Families who are well to do, or even educated give priority to contribute in household chores rather than women maintaining a good career. Lack of support from the family, husband, in-laws often leads a women to leave her career and focus on daily chores. The issue is with mind set. May be the older generation needs to be taught that role of a women is also important in running Indian economy. Government bodies/ private NGO's can arrange programs/ focus group discussion in communities both rural and urban area to encourage people not to stop women from working.

Some suggestions 1. Manthan is a great platform to collate ideas, innovations and suggestions in SDG goals. It helps to collect the ideas from various places and can derive conclusions in one platform 2. It will be scalable and speedy. 3. Women from anywhere or any profession related to those topics can participate. Since it is online from anywhere we can participate. 4. Various sustainable development goals( Around 17) we can see in Manthan platform. We can analyse, get ideas and can implement in possible places. It will be quick. 5. For our country as well as for UN countries also we can suggest this possible innovative ideas. It is a great platform.

A Ferri goods transport system is big solution to our traffic jam. Ferry system can start from Bhavnagar Surat Vapi Mumbai Goa Manglore Calicut kochi Trivandrum and return. Another system from Kolkata vishakapatnam Chennai tootukudy Kanyakumari Trivandrum. A big goods & cars movement ferry systems can be employed.
