A webinar on “Transforming the Health Sector: Union Budget 2021 – Strategies for Implementation” is being organized by the Department of Health & Family Welfare along with the Department of Health Research (DHR), M/o AYUSH and Department of Pharmaceuticals on 23rd February 2021 from 10.30 AM – 1.00PM. The webinar will enable sharing of the key highlights of the budget in respect of the health sector and broad strategies for implementation which build on and leverage reforms, enacted over the past few years. Invited experts will reflect on the challenges and opportunities for strengthening policy reform and implementation and provide suggestions on effective partnerships for positive outcomes. Experts are drawn from academia, research institutions, public health experts, Industry, State health officials, Directors of AIIMS, PGI, JIPMER, NIMHANS, other Central Government Institutions and representatives from FICCI, CII, ASOCHAM, PHD Chamber of Commerce, Healthcare Federation of India.

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Health Sector are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:

1. Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine to be rolled across the country
2. ₹35000 crore for Covid-19 Vaccine in 2021-22
3. Supplementary Nutrition Programme and Poshan Abhiyan to be merged and launched as Mission Poshan 2.0
4. Outlay ₹64180 crore over 6 years
5. Support for Health and Wellness centres
6. Setting up of Integrated Public Health Labs
7. Establishing critical care hospital blocks
8. Strengthening NCDC
9. Expanding integrated health information portal
10. National Commission for Allied Healthcare Professionals Bill
11. The National Nursing and Midwifery Commission

Sir, Please introduce individual billing at all government hospitals, this will have a better control over expenses. Todays senerio in the name general patients much more medical requirements were frawn and sold out at 50percent cost from govt hospitals. There is no accountability, huge wastage on pharma utility. In private sector the fees of the doctor are very high amount any poor man didn't give this type of an amount fees and medicine so I request to take an action for it.

Sir please.impliment strict rules again on travelling,due to increase of Carona cases in our country. If any one want to travel by Buses,Trains, Flight,etc,implement new rules,to produce Travel Fitness Certificate from concerned civil Hospital or from proper authorities showing that,travelling person is not suffering from Carona desease and fit to travel,then only issue travelling tickets to them on production of their ID proofs etc. Prevention is better than cure in my opinion.

Health insurance should be provided for each and every person up to some extended, so that poor person can also benifeted. Generic medicines should be priscribed by every doctor. In this pandamic situation most of the people lost their job so this will definitely be a relief for them. And this facility should be given directly to suffered person because now most of the corruption is in this field only.

Weekly at once, Inspector of health should evaluate or visit each sector. Examine the disease and cure immediately. Communal spreads the disease should be eradicated.

Sir.My opinion on Blood Banks. It is god gift to everyone and automatically generated in our body. .it is very necessary when a patient needed urgent blood to save a life. Most of the Blood Banks are conducting Blood Donation Camps and collecting freely from Donors and saying that,they are doing it under charitable purpose by getting society registrations.etc. But.They are selling it whenever necessary to patients. So.pl.take action and punish them as per law.

Sir.pl.take action on pharma companies in fixing consumer prices on various kinds of medicines,why because on MRP some shops are giving discount 20%,10% as per their choices. Why the pharma companies are printing high rates on medicines and why they are giving high discounts on MRP. In my opinion it is one kind of cheating to public .So,fix MRP properly for consumers price and dealers prices separately Then consumers will get on proper prices without cheating. It is my opinion.

Covid infections being on the rise again in various cities in India,to avoid 2nd wave and serious lock downs, i suggest to PM /Health minister,to strictly implement vaccination drive only as a priority in locations or apartments irrespective of age to all, where new infections are noticed so that those nearby are not infected again. For this purpose, if necessary may be we can import few quantities of J& J one jab vaccine if necessary.
