Recognizing the universal appeal of Yoga, owing to its demonstrated benefits towards immunity building and stress relief, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed 21st June as the International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 11th December 2014. Since 2015, this day has been observed all over the world in ever-growing numbers, with the objective of reminding people across the globe about the benefits of Yoga, and to build enduring public interest in Yoga by highlighting its importance and contributions to the public health.

The preparations for the 7th International Day of Yoga (IDY 2021) have already begun and the Ministry of AYUSH (MoA) is looking forward to active participation from the people. The event will be observed in compliance with the COVID-19 guidelines of the government, with a greater focus on digital activities. In these tough times, all are encouraged to “Be with Yoga, Be at Home”

With this backdrop, MoA invites all citizens to share their ideas on how people can plan to observe the 7th IDY at home with their friends and families while mobilizing the wider community to maintain the ethos of Yoga and ensure community wellbeing. These ideas can be further utilized by the Ministry in conduction different programs dedicated to building the enduring public interest in Yoga by highlighting its importance and contributions to public health

The last date for submission of ideas is 30th June 2021.

yoga is a part of Indian culture from ancient times yoga is is not only exercise of body but also a practice for relaxing our mind today we observe disturbance in the surrounding though yoga is the only way tu to give silent path to our mind & healthy lifestyle.

I suggested that we should get yoga in our daily lifestyle.As other activities and game we play in schools so we should make a separate time for yoga too as it keeps our mind health and brain healthy.I requested our wonderful prime minister to focus on it.Make a separate teacher for yoga in schools too.As it will provide jobs to peoples also.Yoga is our historical activity so we should continues it and make it international activity like other sports.

Yog is very helpful to prevent current pandemic. Gov effort to recognise Yog in large numbers prevent million lives. Yog is ancient culture of Bharat. Thank you PM Modi ji and Swami Ramdev ji for promoting Yog.

योगा भारत के हर व्यक्ति को करना चाहिए । बढ़ती बीमारियों के बीच हम सबको योगा और स्वछता और जागरूकता ही बचा सकते है । देश मे योगा क्रांति लाने की जरुरत है । गांव के लोगों को योगा करने के लिए जागरूक बनाना होगा क्योंकि बिना गांव के भारत की कल्पना भी नहीं की जा सकती.। हम सब प्रकृति के जितना नजदीक रहेंगे उतना ही स्वस्थ रहेंगे.। देश हर बच्चा हर बुजुर्ग हर जवान को योगा को तन मन से योगा को आत्म साध करना होगा तभी स्वस्थ भारत की परिकल्पना सार्थक होंगी ।

yoga is a. type of meditation and meditation is a very useful thing to do and meditation is a like a prayer we do prayer for peace and control our mind control if we can do yoga we control our body and it is also best for health
