Small things like usage of fans instead of frequent use of AC , switching off electrical appliances when not in use , doing our work in daylight instead of bright lights can certainly reduce energy consumption. Using heavy electricity consumption devices/appliances(washing machines, dishwashers ,vacuum cleaners ) alternate day. Installation of low energy consuming led bulbs in our homes, checking if our electrical devices are consuming too much energy. Checking our internal electrical systems for power dripping.
